It is going up this morning.

Very well-written and well-said. You are not alone.

I sit here and write this in another one of my insomnia moments (happens frequently). I used to stress out about my insomnia, but now I know that God will give me what I need to make me the mama He wants me to be for the next day, even when I am sleep-deprived.

Blessings, Friend!Stacie, A Firefighter's Wifehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14195223939229023945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-17036740254877637592010-10-22T00:34:12.708-05:002010-10-22T00:34:12.708-05:00I sooooo needed this today. Now I'll be thinking about how He is the Author of my every moment.
He is such a good God!
I'm needing to review our routine and get us back on track, I think this kind of constant surrender is just the way to do that.Corriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06808230354566529560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-23550324638340004542010-10-21T09:14:29.912-05:002010-10-21T09:14:29.912-05:00ooohhh, girl, I am THERE! Right now I am having to surrender my previous "4 kid" schedule and realize there are FIVE now and one of them is hungry A LOT (and that I am her only form of food!). This is God's design, it is good, it is right. It is God's plan for THIS stage of my mothering. Sometimes I feel so far from God because I am so busy, yet then again these 5 "busy-makers" are His gift and I drawing closer to Him by caring for the children he has given me to care for. Because of the I am stretched - I need Him MORE......A LOT MORE!Nicci Lynnhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13343400722175920774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-86823395396204944392010-10-21T09:10:24.412-05:002010-10-21T09:10:24.412-05:00Grace, I always enjoy reading your blog. This mom is trying to honor Him and bring Him glory in each moment. =0) Thankfully we have a new day, new hour, new minute to get things back on track if need be.cooperkelly4https://www.blogger.com/profile/02849137566164878759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-60296633559817838632010-10-20T16:09:50.657-05:002010-10-20T16:09:50.657-05:00This is such an encouraging post! I am a big control freak and find it so very hard to surrender anything to anyone, in any way (uh oh!)! I am going to think and pray on this some more.

I just wanted to tell you that I took the boys for eye tests after your post a few weeks back! Their eyes are fine for now, but they may need glasses later in childhood. Matthew is colour-blind - we did not know that before, and I'm a little sad, but never mind! It's not a big big issue. I'm just so thankful to have taken them and to know how their eyes are doing. Thank you for the inspiration! :)Alicehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12399373153325849675noreply@blogger.com
