My son is almost 9 months and is still content to lay on his back or sit and play with his toys and I can't help but compare him to other babies who are crawling and pulling themselves up and walking along furniture at that age or even younger.

That verse is absolutely perfect. I'll try to stop focusing so much on his development and instead focus on his heart and that adorable grin. ;) If the doctor isn't that concerned, then why should I be?Jennhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07835079187093517851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-13520983351336798202010-03-29T11:00:24.546-05:002010-03-29T11:00:24.546-05:00Great post. The neighbor boy came over to play for the first time ever and he is a master at sports, even golf! My first reaction was shame because my boys can't throw a ball to save their lives! But then I remembered what we spend our time on, what the boys do whith my husband, not sports but bible study and character building and just enjoying each others company.

Who cares if the neighbor kids can kick the pants off of Silas in a game of hoops? He is learning eternal things! Things that will not pass away! He is learning to have a heart like Christ and thats what matters!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04986845050050659163noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-90375429408449392122010-03-27T18:21:14.583-05:002010-03-27T18:21:14.583-05:00Shelby...or make them matching shirts :) lol!Shelby...or make them matching shirts :) lol!Grace~The Mommy On the Bushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02415033363688082792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-63527996483738156152010-03-27T11:03:49.213-05:002010-03-27T11:03:49.213-05:00This is so true. I'm okay with where I am in life, my abilities, talents, pride issues, etc. but I get hung up on my kids being too concerned about what others will think. Thanks for the reminder from 1 Samuel. Maybe I need to put that on their bedroom doors for me, and them.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14866213375824832838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4660714304160473392.post-13735436388013271062010-03-26T17:51:22.838-05:002010-03-26T17:51:22.838-05:00Oh how I needed this reminder today!
