Bah Dah Bah Bah Bah...

THANKFULLY my morning sickness is tapering off!  I'm feeling better and better every day!

What a trial that was!...I usually have several "tricks" up my sleeve that help when my morning sickness kicks in...

But this time, for some reason, very little worked to cure my morning sickness.

Trust me, I've tried it all in the last 2.5 months...

~Ginger (and Ginger ale)
~Preggy pops
~Sea Bands
~Vitamin b6
~Half a Unisom at night
~Crackers before your feet touch the floor
~Laying on my back
~Eating every hour
~Sweet-tarts
~Peppermint

Thankfully, protein is what I crave...and sometimes that does help...

But when all else fails, this pregnancy, my "life-saver" has been these:

So yes, BAH DAH BAH BAH BAH...
I'm LOVIN' it!

Yummy salty junk food helped me too and for some reason with LOTS of ketchup which I normally don't like. I'm so glad you are feeling better! I kept thinking about you- I know morning sickness can be HORRIBLE! Now the fun part can begin! YEA:)

Ugh! Micky D's made me so sick when I was pregnant!!! What helped me was Gas X, Saltines, and 7UP (not Sprite, not lemon-lime whatever, it HAD to be 7UP!) It's funny how God makes all of our bodies and each pregnancy different! So glad you found something that is working for you!!!!

Glad you were able to find some relief :). Morning sickness, all-day sickness really, was awful for me with this pregnancy (had none with Carter) until about 4 months in...yuck. Only thing that helped me was eating lots of salad (not sure why, only thing that didn't upset my stomach) and taking Emetrol. Emetrol was recommended by my doctor and we found a really cheap knock-off brand at our grocery store that didn't taste too bad...had to carry it around with me everywhere for a while. Cola syrup sometimes helped also.

junk food and fast food where my go to foods as well during the first few months, but now that I'm feeling great, I'm still craving french fries so I'm thinking it's just a pregnancy thing!

Every pregnancy I had I was grossed out by certain foods:
1. chicken of any form cooked or raw.
2. sloppy joes--and especially if you called them bbq's.
3. pizza. oh, no! not the pizza!
4. peanut butter! And I had 3 other little ones at home that LOVED it.

But the one thing I could and always wanted to eat was:
Taco Johns.
NOt Taco Bell.
Taco Johns.

Ha! With my twins, ginger was the only thing that helped, but my morning sickness wasn't too bad anyway. With my third son, I felt sick all day every day of the 1st trimester, and ginger made it worse. The only thing that made it better? Cheetos and Sprite! I'm surprised my baby didn't come out orange and effervescent!

Glad you're starting to feel better!

ewwwwwwwww. I can't think of anything that this baby would hate more than McD's fries....except for beef, and soda, and anything mint. However I am really loving guacamole....tons and tons of it! :)

Can't wait to hear more about the pregnancy!

I love McD fries and a vanilla shake. Mmmmmm.

But back when I was pregnant with my first son allllllll those years ago, my saving food was a taco or two from Taco Tico! LOL! If I couldn't keep anything else down, the tacos are what I would go get (or someone would make the trip for me).

Amazing what works for each pregancy, huh. :D

Have missed visiting you... catching up on reading several of your posts tonight. Glad to know you're doing so great! ♥
