The Wheels On Our Big, New Bus Go Round and Round...

I have got some BIG and EXCITING news!!!

This past weekend, Ryan and I got a NEW VAN!!!

I can't even begin to tell you what a blessing this is to us!!!

As a family of 6 (soon to be 7) and with all our kids in car seats or boosters, we just don't fit in a minivan anymore!

Our Old Van
With little hands already unable to reach the buckles that are hidden by the carseat next to them and with NO cargo room... it's already been a hassle with just 4 little ones!!

So my parents blessed us tremendously and helped us to buy our new amazing van...(Remember the legacy of generosity I told you all about? They are an indescribable blessing to our family!)
It's a 15 passenger 2002 Chevy Express and she's a BEAUTY!!!
At the gas station just after we made the purchase!

The kids LOVE all the room they have!!!

And we all love all the room we have to GROW!!!
(When the baby comes, Trusten and Brahm will be in the 3rd row)

I still cry just about every time I see it!  We are so thankful!!!

I have always said that I'd love to have a huge van where I could look back over my shoulder and see row after row of precious faces that the Lord has blessed us with!  Oh, how I love my kiddos!!!

Thank you Jesus~Jehovah Jireh, our provider!!!

Welcome to the world of big vans!! The first time we took a trip in ours (we've had it 2 years now) we noticed how much quieter it was! The more spread out the kids are, the more peace there is! :) A good thing.

What a blessing - so glad for you - PTL!!

Yay for big vans! We got our 15 passenger express last year after we had our seventh child.
Just a quick tip; I am sure you know about taking out the fourth row for cargo room, but I had my husband build me a "box" which is basically a wooden structure (without a bottom) that goes the depth and width of the cargo area. It's just tall enough that the double stroller slides under it with a sterlite container next to it to hold misc things (baby carrier, milk, etc.) THEN I can put all the other groceries on top of this "box." It gives me a large flat surface that holds tons of stuff. It's especially handy when you shop at places like Sams or Costco that don't bag the groceries.

Before he built me this I had to pile all the groceries on top of the stroller which worked okay but this is much better.

Now that I'm talking about it, I just might have to write in to momys :) It has been a huge blessing to me!

Congratulations on your new van and your coming little one :)

How absolutely wonderful!!! I always wanted a van too {for the same reason}. Right now we have an SUV with three rows, but it will be very tight if we are blessed with a fourth. What a blessing! I'm so excited for you! :)

Congratulations Grace! We are expecting our 6th little one in February and this will put us at maximum capacity in the SUV we currently own. If the Lord chooses to bless us again we will have to get one of these amazing vans! Both of my husbands and my parents have passed away, so the Lord will have to choose a different way to provide for us..but nothing is impossible for Him! Praise God for your parents, don't EVER take them for granted (which I am sure you don't) and enjoy you new van!

Oh I love your van!! What a blessing! Just look at all the rows and rows and rows inside, lol! ;) I am longing for a 12-seater van, though I see that a 15-seater would be great for extra space to store things! We have a minivan right now with 3 seats in the middle row (each can take a child's car seat) and two captain's chairs in the back row, but one of them is broken. So right now Arthur is in the back, and the little three are in the middle. I have no idea what we'll do in December when Samuel arrives, because we cannot afford to even get the 5th seat fixed. What a blessing a bigger van would be!

what a blessing you have in your family helping you. When I had my second, my parents got us a mini-van for Christmas. they just paid it off. I don't know what I would do without the van!!! My mom and dad are the absolute bestest. They are such a huge blessing!!!
