10 Uses for a Pizza Cutter

I love my pizza cutter. I've talked about it before in my "A Few Of My Favorite Things" post but seriously, I use my pizza cutter just about everyday...I've figured out it can make my life a lot more simple and meal-prep a whole lot faster!

So here are just 10 ways (of many) on how I use my pizza cutter...

1) Cutting pizza (brillant, huh?)

2) Cutting sandwiches in half for the kiddos.

3) Cutting up pancakes in a jiffy!

4) Cutting meat quickly.

5) Cutting quesadillas nice and neat.

6) Cutting the crust off of bread (not that I would ever do such a wasteful thing for my kids *wink*)

7) Cutting grapes in half for your toddler.

8) Cutting up spaghetti for little ones.

9) Cutting hotdogs up.

10) Cutting up potatoes. Yep, I use it even on potatoes!

So in other words, I use my pizza cutter on pretty much EVERYTHING :)

If you can think of any more uses for a pizza cutter, do share, Share, SHARE!

I use it for spaghetti! I hate the mess long noodles make!

Definitely the quesadilla - I think I use it more for that than for pizza. And grilled cheese, just kind of zips through it instead of gunking up a knife. Fun list :)

My pizza wheel cutter is kind of pathetic and has a tendency to always be dirty when i need it since it doesn't like to fit in my dishwasher very well so I procrastinate putting it in there and how is this for a run-on sentence... *gasps for air* I have a pair of food scissors though which I use for EVERYTHING. Now that I've had food scissors I will never ever be without them. They are an indespensible piece of kitchen equipment! And since my pizza wheel is so pathetic, guess what I use to cut pizza? My food scissors! ;)

Does Play dough count?
It also works on pie crusts, if you want a staight line to do the fancy basket weave on the top crust.

Wow, my pizza cutter is being underutilized. But it cuts lots of pizza.

OK. Seriously. This is such a great idea. I use my kitchen scissors all the time to cut things up but a pizza cutter would be easy, too! Thanks for the great tips!

I love using mine for quesadillas too. It also works great for cutting bread dough into bread sticks.

Such a multipurpose tool is worth it's space in my small kitchen.

Nate and I used to argue over the proper use of a pizza cutter all the time. He used them for EVERYTHING and then when I wanted to cut pizza I couldn't find one. Well I've learned if you can't beat 'em join 'em. We now have MANY pizza cutters and he routinely gets them for Father's Day, a stocking stuffer, his birthday... Now if I can only teach him the proper use of knives!
